Hillside is a detached property sitting proudly in prime location at the bottom of Skillman’s Hill. A beautifully spacious property which presents well with a modern interior. Access to South Green is conveniently at the top of the Hill with the high street and seafront also only a stone’s throw away.

The homeowner has put her heart and soul into renovating Hillside into a one of a kind holiday cottage and it really shows! At the rear of the property you find the open plan kitchen/dining area. A beautiful light and bright space, perfect for creating some culinary delights for your family and friends. The kitchen is well equipped with all appliances and equipment required to make the most of your self catering holiday and the large dining table and chairs makes for this room being the social hub of the house. The sitting room again all newly furnished offers guest comfort as well as being modern and stylish. The room has been cleverly designed with bifold doors splitting the room into two small lounges if desired.

Upstairs the property boasts four bedrooms all spacious, light and bright offering guests ample storage for belongings. Three family bathrooms – one being positioned on the ground floor – offer guests flexibility with both shower cubicles and baths available. Ideal for family groups.

At the front of the property the owners have created a cosy area, patio under foot with bench seating for guests to enjoy some al fresco dining in the summer sun. Shop: 700 yards. Pub: 300 yards.

Southwold South Green Area - Properties here enjoy one of the best locations in town. From many of them you can look across South Green towards Gun Hill and the sea and the properties are within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocers with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The popular Red Lion Inn overlooking South Green is even closer. Secluded and peaceful, Southwold Dunes is an ideal retreat for walkers and nature enthusiasts.

Hillside is warm, bright and welcoming, as well as perfectly situated for the beach, High Street and quayside. It's an easy house to run, with very comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, beautifully designed bathrooms, and three relaxing areas to sit. We could pull over the sitting-room partition to make an ideal safe play space for a crawling baby (who loved looking up at the skylight!) and then push it back once he was in bed.
