Almost unchanged in the last 200 years the village street is peppered with thatched, wattle and daub cottages and houses, its iconic bridge and well-known pub little changes from the outside.

Old Barn is a wonderful place for a family get together ... the only sounds when you sit in the garden are sheep and birds! - 2nd May 2019
We very much enjoyed our stay at the old barn, it was well equipped and offered a great mix of old and new. the location was very remote and stunning countryside from every window. The welcome food items were much appreciated and a nice touch. All in all a fantastic place for our birthday celebration! would highly recommend it! - 28th March 2019
An ideal property for a family gathering - extremely generously equipped, plenty of space inside and out and good catering facilities. The children enjoyed an expedition by canoes and kayaks on the river from Sudbury and found the cycle routes pleasantly light in traffic.Mrs Elizabeth Slater - 28th August 2018
The owner met us at the property and was extremely welcoming. She showed us round every room and all appliances and encouraged use of all facilities including glasses for our party on Saturday night. Overall, we loved the Barn and were made to feel relaxed and were encouraged to treat the place like our own home. Both the owner and the amazing Barn made my birthday celebrations complete. Mrs V Jeffrey - 19th December 2017
Overall the Barn was fantastic, very high standard of cleanliness and very much a home from home, I would highly recommend the Barn to any large group especially for the great social kitchen/dining area.E Cope
