Set in a spectacular location with stunning panoramic views over the Blyth estuary, Whitehouse Barn is an ideal holiday location for families with children, walkers, birdwatchers or those who just want a peaceful holiday. A quiet location, ten minutes drive from the popular seaside town of Southwold, makes Whitehouse Barn an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Suffolk Heritage Coast.

Whitehouse Barn is a large barn that has been made into two semi detached holiday properties with an adjoining door linking the two properties for larger parties to book.

Whitehouse Barn offers guests two large open plan kitchen/dining/living areas either side of the building. Newly renovated, the barn has been beautifully furnished to a very high standard. The kitchen areas are well stocked with all equipment and appliances you will need to make the most of your self-catering stay, cooking up some culinary delights for your family and friends. Both living areas have woodburning stoves making this barn ideal for breaks all year round. One of the main features of this fabulous property is the large oversized windows and doors that lead out onto the vast garden area, marshland and estuary beyond. Truly unique views that are sure to blow you away.

The barn offers guests eight bedrooms, four on the ground floor and four on the first floor. The beautiful furnishings carry on throughout these bedrooms but also ensuring maximum comfort and ease of use for guests with storage for clothing available. There is also five bathrooms available, all on the ground floor, meaning guests that wish to avoid using the stairs can with ground floor facilities available.

Outside there is a very large private garden area with patio area with seating, a garden laid to lawn and the marshland and estuary beyond. A perfect spot to sit and enjoy some al fresco dining whilst soaking in the fantastic views surrounding you. Pub: 1.3 miles. Shop: 1.3 miles (small village shop next door to pub; larger shops within 3-6 miles).

Open plan room 1 with wide large glass doors each side of the room. Sitting Area: Television over mantle in recess area, wood burner, soft furnishing with recess shelving each side of the fireplace. Dining Area: Dining table and eight chairs. Kitchen area: Dishwasher, double oven and induction hob, fridge freezer. Large glass doors leading out to garden with furniture with the meadow and fields beyond.
Open plan room 2 with Kitchen area: Bosch dishwasher, oven and induction hob, fridge/freezer. (2 steps down to this area). Dining area: Dining table and eight chairs. Sitting area: Wood burner and large, wide double glass doors which open right out to garden area.
Bedroom 1: Single bed with fitted wardrobes.
Bedroom 2: King sized bed with fitted wardrobes. Stunning views over the Blyth Estuary.
Bathroom: Bath, over bath double head shower, basin and WC.
Bathroom: Roll top bath, shower cubicle, basin and WC.
Bedroom 3: Double bed, fitted wardrobes with hanging space and shelving. Oversized glass windows opening out to the soak in the meadow views.
Bedroom 4: (Down a few stairs.) Twin beds with fitted wardrobes with hanging space along with shelving. Oversized glass windows opening out to the soak in the meadow views.
Shower Room: Large shower cubicle with double head shower, basin and WC. Heated towel rail, shelving for toiletries.
Utility area: Washer/dryer and shelving.

FIRST FLOOR
Bedroom 5 with eaves: Double bed with fitted wardrobes and shelving. Large wide windows which open right out with views.
Bathroom: Bath, over bath double head shower, basin, WC, shelving.
Bedroom 6 with eaves: Providing limited head room with low level twin beds, hanging space and shelving.
Bedroom 7 with eaves: Twin beds with built in wardrobe with hanging space and shelving. Eves and velux window.
Bedroom 8 with eaves: Single bed.

Garden: Large paved area with furniture outside the open plan room with grass beyond. Unspoilt views across the marshes.
Parking: Ample private parking.

Pets: One well behaved dog welcome.
Heating: Oil-fired under-floor heating
Notes: Bed linen, towels, 2 high chairs, 2 travel cots and WiFi available for guest use. - Bedroom 6 can optionally be accessed via a “stair ladder” (as well as a more conventional staircase!). This can be an adventure for kids -- however, it is very steep and not suitable for play. This access route can be locked should parents wish to discourage their children from charging up and down.

Whitehouse Barn is situated in the village of Bulcamp. A small and quiet village perfectly positioned in the centre of marshland and the Blyth estuary offering the very few properties in this village the most spectacular surroundings. Also situated only 4 miles from the popular seaside town of Southwold, with the iconic pier, beach and high street to visit and explore.
